PATTERNIZED MEMORIES 2018, Design Academy Eindhoven
This project is a patternization of memories from Reunion Island which contains the beauty of primitive nature.
Through this work, Soowon pays attention to the 'memories' which eventually fade away and become patternized, unlike 'experiences' carried out by five senses.
As memories evolve, add up, get distorted, and transform within themselves, Soowon traces the patterns of memories through experienced scenes from Reunion Island.
And through this process, it can be concluded that memories do not disappear at each moment, they rather sustain themselves while being patternized.
